Efforts are being made to turn Flat rooftops for aesthetic and productive uses.
Many studies are made to insulate the roof from the Harsh Tropical Sun to allow for more tolerable temperatures for units directly below the Rooftop. Concept trials will be conducted soon using GCL constructed panels on Stools placed on top of Rooftop concrete slabs. This will allow for natural ventilation and cooling in view of the natural tropical rainfall which is predominent every alternative day. GCL properties for Water Moisture retention is one of the Factors considered.
